Luxury Washroom Trailer Rentals for Surrey Police Service at the 2026 Surrey Khalsa Day Vaisakhi Parade
In April 2026, Prestige Event Services Inc. had the honour of providing our luxury washroom trailer rentals for the Surrey Police Service during the 2026 Surrey Khalsa Day Vaisakhi Parade, held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Surrey, British Columbia.
Recognized as the largest Vaisakhi celebration in the world, the Surrey Khalsa Day Vaisakhi Parade welcomed well over 450,000 attendees, with some organizers estimating crowds approaching 600,000 people. Every year, visitors from across British Columbia, Canada, and around the world gather in Surrey to celebrate this incredible event, making it one of the largest community celebrations in North America.
Vaisakhi is one of the most important celebrations in the Sikh calendar. It commemorates the founding of the Khalsa in 1699 by Guru Gobind Singh Ji and celebrates faith, equality, community, and selfless service (Seva). Throughout the day, the streets of Surrey came alive with colourful floats, live performances, cultural displays, and the tradition of Langar, where free meals and refreshments are generously served to hundreds of thousands of visitors. The sense of community, generosity, and hospitality is truly something everyone should experience.
Our primary client for this event was the Surrey Police Service, and we were proud to provide premium restroom facilities to support officers working long operational shifts throughout the parade. Due to the scale of the event, numerous organizations worked together to ensure the safety and success of the celebration, including the Delta Police Department, the City of Surrey, and South Fraser Search and Rescue. It was an honour to support the dedicated professionals and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep such a massive event running safely and smoothly.
